REFLEXOLOGY

The art of reflexology is an ancient therapy that has been around over 5000 years and was introduced to the western world over one hundred years ago. Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower legs, hands, face and ears correspond with the different areas of the body. Reflexologists believe that working these points, or areas aids, relaxation and helps improve well-being.

In our modern world of high technology and busy life-styles, we are increasing our levels of stress daily. It is important for people to recognise the detrimental effects, this can have and to take action to address their own healthcare needs. As such, reflexology could be one of the methods you choose to ease the stresses of modern day life.

Improved well being is much more than simply the absence of illness. It also includes an improved frame of mind, better relationships with those around you and increased happiness.

Benefits of Reflexology?

As a holistic practitioner, I will support you as a whole person and promote your well being. I do not prescribe, diagnose or treat specific illnesses, but work on the body to stimulate its own healing.

I have been trained to work with various reflexes to help certain conditions.

Reflexology acknowledges every person as a unique individual. It is not possible to know in advance how you will react to a treatment, people often do feel very relaxed, may sleep better and notice a feeling of improved mood and general well being. You may find that other things around you improve too, but this happens on a very individual basis.

Reflexology and Vertical reflexology (VRT) can be used on their own, with other therapies or alongside mainstream medical care.

Reflexology is for Healthy as well as sick people, for young and the old.

Treatment is for 50 minutes in person or home visit within 15 miles radius.

The first treatment normally lasts one hour and 30 minutes as we do a full consultation before treatment.
